College Prayer
Dear Lord
As we gather here today we give thanks for our strong sense of community, for the joy of human life, its wonders and surprises, its hopes and achievements. May we ‘touch hearts’ and inspire others with the Christian spirit.
As students, may we be filled with a desire to learn and to do our best in all aspects of school life. May we as a College, live out Your message and with God as our leader, commit to excellence in every aspect of our lives. Lord, please guide our College in the traditions begun by our founder, St John Baptist de La Salle and help us to continue building our faith. We thank you for this nurturing spiritual environment and we pray that we may not live by our fears but by our hopes, not by our words but by our deeds.
Amen.
The Prayer

As a rule, all prayers at La Salle College start and finish with this LaSallian prayer.
Leader: Let us remember we are in the holy presence of God.
(And conclude with)
Leader: St John Baptist De La Salle
Response: Pray for us.
Leader: Live Jesus in our hearts
Response: Forever.
College Liturgy
La Salle College has a weekly Wednesday morning Eucharist at 8.00am and all staff, students and parents are welcome to attend. The Eucharist is the most important prayer that we offer, and is both the source and summit of our Catholic faith.
Each of these Masses is the responsibility of two PCG with the assistance of their PCA, the College Chaplain and the Liturgy Coordinator. It is an expectation of our College that each members of the PCG attend their allocated Mass twice a year and that they participate in the liturgical preparation in a helpful and positive way.
